'Baseball Prospectus' offers midseason update July 14

Arlington Heights Memorial Public Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., hosts the New York Times-bestselling authors of "Baseball Prospectus" for a lively discussion of 2011 major league baseball at midseason.

The free event is at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 14.

Prospect master Kevin Goldstein, transactions analyst Christina Kahrl, and NL Central/Peanuts baseball expert Larry Granillo will bring incisive, humorous, and always challenging views on the game.

Questions encouraged, and will be addressed by this panel of baseball gurus.
