500-pound white piano is stolen from NYC park
NEW YORK — How do you steal a white 500-pound piano sitting in a public park?
That’s what a nonprofit arts group that placed the piano in New York City wants to know.
Sing for Hope director Emily Walsh says the instrument was last seen Sunday night at a park in the Bronx. It’s one of dozens of upright pianos placed around the city during a two-week project sponsored by the organization.
The search for the piano is ongoing.
