Watch out for extended warranties

Watch out for bogus extended service warranties on your vehicle, the Better Business Bureau warns. You may think you’re getting extra protection from the manufacturer, but many of these deals are scams. Consumers reported high fees and unreimbursed repair charges in a recent survey. The BBB advises reading contracts carefully, doing the math and checking with your dealer or manufacturer first.
