Geneva hosts its residency awards

The Geneva Settler’s Coffee, sponsored by Geneva Place, The Holmstad and CovenantCare at Home, was held June 23.

More than 90 longtime Geneva residents enjoyed breakfast provided by Inglenook Pantry and stories at Geneva Golf Club.

As is tradition, awards were handed out for individuals who have resided in Geneva the longest.

At 90 years of residency, Teresa Sills took home first place.

Second place went to Merritt King, who has been in Geneva for 87 years, and third place went to Ruth Richards for living in Geneva for 79 years.
