Arlington Hts. chair-decorating contest set for Frontier Days
Arlington Heights’ ever-popular “Decorate a Chair” competition will be July 3 during the village’s Frontier Days festival at Recreation Park.
Individuals and groups wanting to participate should bring their decorated chairs to the park near Belmont Avenue and Miner Street between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Entry forms can be filled out then.
The chairs will be judged by a jury between 2 and 3 p.m. And anyone can vote in the People’s Choice category until 2:45 p.m. Awards will be given at 3 p.m.
