Hersey grad runs Chicago Marathon for LLS & Her Best Friend
CLARKE FOR KARK
Last year, my daughter's best friend, Corrine Clarke trained hard, ran her first Chicago Marathon in memory of my brother John Kark, and raised over $4,000 for LLS. This year, due to her overwhelming pride of last year's accomplishment, she will be running her 2nd Chicago Marathon.
Sadly, we all know of someone who has been stricken by this horrible disease, you can help honor the memory of a loved one or the courage of someone battling cancer.
Please click on Corrie's link, make a donation and she will write the name of the person you want to honor on her shirt and carry them with her on her 26.2 mile race to the finish line. This year, I'm having her run in memory of my best friend, Alice, who just lost her 7-month battle against stage IV lung cancer.
