Actress Geena Davis to speak in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — An Academy Award-winning actress will be in Wisconsin next week.

Geena Davis will give a motivational speech Tuesday afternoon at the national conference for lia sophia, the world's largest direct sales jewelry company.

Nearly 4,000 sales associates from around the country are expected at the gathering, which runs Sunday through Tuesday at the Frontier Airlines Center and the U.S. Cellular Arena in downtown Milwaukee.

Fashion stylist Clinton Kelly from TLC's "What Not To Wear" is scheduled to speak Monday.

The company is expected to announce a new creative direction at the conference.
