Fire dept. offers demos at Taste of Lombard

LOMBARD, Illinois— During this year's Taste of Lombard, the Lombard Fire Department will be conducting brief demonstrations for the public. All demonstrations will be held in front of the Fire Department's First Aid Tent.

The schedule for the demonstrations is as follows:

• June 30

6 p.m. — “Fire Gear” demonstration

7:30 p.m. — “Fire/Home Safety” demonstration

• July 1

6 p.m. — “Extrication Tools” demonstration

7:30 p.m. — “Fire Gear” demonstration

• July 2

2 p.m. — “Extrication Tools” demonstration

7:30 p.m. —“ Fire Gear” demonstration

• July 3

1 p.m. -- “Fire/Home Safety” demonstration

4 p.m. — “Fire Gear” demonstration

• July 4

1 p.m. — “Fire/Home Safety” demonstration

4 p.m. — “Fire Gear” demonstration

“During each session, attendees will have a chance to win a prize if they can answer a question pertaining to the demonstration,” said Lombard Fire Chief Mike Torrence.
