Woofstock canceled

Woofstock originally scheduled for Saturday, June 25 at Lambs Farm near Libertyville has been canceled. Officials said the date of the dog-centered event conflicted with the schedules of several vendors and demonstrators. Rather than proceed with a diluted version, Lambs Farm officials decided to cancel the event and focus its energy on the community celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary on Aug. 20.
