Mastandrea retirement celebration

Retiring Lake Zurich Fire Chief Terry Mastandrea will be honored with two events next month. Mastandrea is set to retire July 15 after 21 years of service. A “Walk Out Ceremony” is planned for Friday, July 15 at 4 p.m. at the Lake Zurich Fire Rescue Station 1, 321 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. An “Open House-Thank You Reception”, which includes beverages and light food, is set for 3 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 16. Special presentations are planned for 5 p.m. That event will be at the Volunteer Firefighter Association Hall, 77 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.
