Center Doell reunites with Wolves

The Chicago Wolves have signed center Kevin Doell, a 31-year-old forward who spent six seasons with the Wolves from 2003-2008 and 2009-10.

Doell ranks 12th on Chicago’s all-time scoring register with 168 points (68G, 100A) in 358 career games. He also has racked up 392 penalty minutes and was a member of the Wolves 2008 Calder Cup Championship team.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native spent the 2010-11 campaign in Finland with Tappara Tampere (SM-Liiga), where he ranked first on the team with 18 goals and 38 points and held third with 20 assists and second with 105 penalty minutes in 58 contests. He also competed in Europe during the 2008-09 season, amassing 22 goals, 27 assists, 49 points and 105 penalty minutes in 37 outings with Leksands-IF of the Swedish First Division.
