How Do We Let Soldiers Know We Care?
“Soldiers appreciate our letters and care packages,” said Jill Reese.
Jill said that the soldiers enjoy Lou Malnati’s pizza, spaghetti, Baskin Robbins ice cream and Arby’s. She believes soldiers need phone cards and care packages with toothpaste, shampoo, snacks, and socks. She says that the USO and Soldiers’ Angels are the best places to send care packages to.
Jill says that it is better to send letters when they are not in battles. Anyone can send a letter or care package to our troops. Jill is an expert on sending our troops care packages, because her son is in the military and she has sent many packages.
