Brett Morris — Ballroom Dancer

“It all started with ‘Dancing With the Stars’,” explained Brett Morris.

Brett Morris is a teacher, but not just any teacher. He is a dance teacher. He dances and teaches at Ballroom Dance Studio in Northbrook. He works Monday through Friday.

“I am on my feet all day,” says Brett. Besides teaching students, Brett also practices about two hours a day with Keeley Lewis, who is also a dance teacher and Brett’s partner.

It takes about 6 months to get ready for a competition. Brett also has a coach to help him get ready for competitions. Brett also has a sponsor for competitions. Deidre of London makes Brett’s tuxedos and Keeley’s dresses for competitions.

Brett has been dancing for 6 years. Brett started dancing when he was 17. He is now 23. Brett likes competing, especially when he gets good results. Brett Morris is a dance teacher and a good dancer.
