Sky scouting report
Chicago Sky (3-2) at Atlanta Dream (1-5)
When: 11 a.m., Phillips Arena
Web: WNBA.com, LiveAccess
Last games: The visiting Sky lost to the Connecticut Sun, 83-68, and the host Dream lost to the Minnesota Lynx 77-64 on Sunday.
Skinny: The Sky needs to rebound in a hurry after the disappointment of the loss in Connecticut. If the Sky had won, it would be sitting alone in first place in the Eastern Conference and riding a four-game winning streak. But a win in Atlanta would salvage this quick two-game road swing. … The Sky shot poorly against Connecticut (39.7 percent) and also allowed its highest point total of the season, giving up 48 points in the first half alone. … Sylvia Fowles continues to be dominating the paint. She scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Sunday. She averaged 19.4 points last season against the Dream. … The Sky played well in Atlanta last season, going 3-0 in Phillips Arena. But the Dream won two games in Chicago. … The Dream still is looking for its first home win. Its last attempt was disastrous. Against the Lynx on Sunday, the Dream shot a season-low 30 percent while leading scorer Angel McCoughtry had just 10 points on 2 of 13 field goals. She had been averaging 21.3 points over the previous three games.
Next: Connecticut Sun at Sky, 7 p.m. Thursday
