Warren-Newport library hires new employee

Warren-Newport Public Library District in Gurnee has a new head of the children’s and programming departments. Jennifer Drinka holds an master’s degree from Dominican University and a bachelor of art in fiction writing from Columbia College of Chicago.

Her previous experience was as youth program coordinator at Barrington Area Library and other posts at Baraboo Public Library, Ela Area Public Library and Fox River Grove Public Library.

“We are very excited about Jennifer’s energy, enthusiasm and ideas,” said Warren-Newport Director Stephen Bero. “She has a terrific staff and collection that are one of the most popular stops for families on the road to reading.”
