2 dead, 3 injured in suburban Chicago crash
LYON — Authorities in the Chicago suburb of Lyons say two people are dead and three others seriously injured after an early morning vehicle crash.
Lyons police say the two-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Cook County medical examiner's office says the two victims were men. Their identities have not been released.
Police say they received reports of a vehicle driving the wrong way on a one-way when they received reports of the crash. Authorities say the crash appears to be a head-on collision. Two people were ejected from one of the vehicles.
All five people were taken to local hospitals.
