Chicago Fire at New England Revolution

By Orrin Schwarz

When: 6:30 p.m. at Gillette Stadium

TV: Comcast SportsNet

Scouting the Fire: The Fire (2-4-8, 14 points) seems to be gaining confidence after turning an 11-game winless streak into a four-game unbeaten streak. A win here and the team can make a big jump up the standings. It’s the Fire’s first game since transferring Gaston Puerari to Club Atlas in Mexico. The Fire has an eight-game undefeated streak against the Revs in MLS play.

Scouting the Revolution: The Revs (3-7-5, 14 points) will be without midfielder Benny Feilhaber again, and lately they’ve been struggling. They’re coming off a 0-0 draw at home Wednesday against lowly Toronto FC, but that ended a four-game losing streak.

Next game: Real Salt Lake, Wednesday.
