Guided yard tour

The Lake-to-Prairie Chapter of the Wild Ones will host a guided yard tour at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18. The garden evolved over 20 years, beginning with just annuals, progressing to perennials, and now incorporating native plants, trees, and shrubs. The gardeners will share their success, failures and advice. Participants will get a list of native plants in use, as well as information about rain gardens and rain barrels, invasive plants, creative ways to use dead and trimmed branches and multi-bin composting.
