Initial public offerings scheduled to debut next week

Week of June 20

KiOR Inc. - Pasadena, Texas, 10 million class A shares, priced $19 to $21, managed by Credit Suisse, UBS, and Goldman Sachs. Proposed Nasdaq symbol KIOR. Business: Developing a platform to convert non-food biomass into fuel blendstocks.

Pioneer Power Solutions Inc. - Fort Lee, N.J., 2.3 million shares, priced $8 to $10, managed by Oppenheimer & Co. Proposed Nasdaq symbol PPSI. Business: Sells electrical transformers to niche markets in North America.

Stewart & Stevenson Inc. - Houston, 16 million shares, priced $14 to $16, managed by J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup. Proposed NYSE symbol SNS. Business: Offers custom equipment for unconventional drilling to the oil & gas industries. Previously postponed offering in Nov. 2007.

Vanguard Health Systems Inc. - Nashville, Tenn., 25 million shares, priced $21 to $23, managed by BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays, and Citigroup. Proposed NYSE symbol VHS. Business: Operates 26 acute care and specialty hospitals in five U.S. states.
