Today’s Elgin bike event canceled

The lunch for bike commuters that was supposed to take place at noon today on Walton Island in Elgin will be postponed until Friday, June 17, because of rain. The lunch is sponsored by the Elgin Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee as part of Bike to Work week. Reservations are still required for the event.
