Human resourses session to discuss discipline

The Illinois Fox Valley Society of Human Resource Management will present “A Positive Approach to Discipline” on Thursday, June 16.

Registration will be at 11:15 a.m. at the Hickory Stick at Highlands Golf Course, 875 Sports Way, Elgin, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. and presentation from noon to 1 p.m.

This session will provide human resources professionals with a guide through employee discipline to make the process a win/win situation. The employee will feel the company wants him/her to succeed and the company has the opportunity to have loyal, productive employees, reduce turnover costs, and avoid possible litigation. The basic outline of the presentation includes preparing for the meeting, meeting discussion, after the meeting and throughout the process.
