Dundee Library offers dog obedience classes

Submitted by Dundee Township Public Library

Whether you’ve got a new puppy or an old dog who could use some new tricks, owners of all kinds will learn something at “The Secrets to Training Your Dog” at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee.

The program will be presented by husband-and-wife team Kristy and Ian Dilworth, owners of Smart Dogs. They will show you how to build a foundation for your dog to learn anything.

Secrets revealed will include obedience techniques, preventing a bite, dog-proofing your home, potty-training, marking, aggression and more.

The program is free; however, registration is required. To reserve your seat, visit the “Events & Registration” page at www.dundeelibrary.info; call (847) 428-3661, ext. 308; or stop by the Information Services desk at the library.
