Palatine approves second Arlington dealership
Arlington Automotive Group Inc., which operates Arlington Toyota at Rand and Hicks roads in Palatine, will open another auto dealership later this month that specializes in the sale of luxury, pre-owned vehicles.
Arlington Luxury and Classic Cars will be located at 2019 N. Rand Road. Fidelity Motors ran a similar dealership there, but recently moved to a larger location in Barrington.
Revenue generated at the dealership will count toward Arlington’s tax increment financing assistance from the village, the amount of which is based on sales tax. The village agreed to reimburse Arlington up to $50,000 annually for a maximum of $400,000 as part of an earlier redevelopment agreement.
