Hanover Township hosts Relay For Life

On Friday, June 17, Hanover Township is hosting the Bartlett, Hanover Park, Streamwood Relay For Life. The event raises funds for the American Cancer Society which is used for research, prevention, and patient services. Participants walk through the night around the track because cancer never sleeps!

The Opening Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. with a DJ, kids activities, games, silent auction and food. The Luminaria ceremony will be held at 10 p.m., to honor the survivors and remember those lost to cancer. The event concludes at 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

This year’s goal is to raise $65,000. The event is open to the public and you do not need to be registered to participate. The Hanover Township grounds is at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett. For information, contact Jaci Kator at (847) 287-8823 or visit relayforlifebhps.com.
