Wedneday Morning Movie Series kicks off June 15 at Tivoli Theatre

The Wednesday Morning Movie Series kicks off on June 15, with a presentation of "Yogi Bear" at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave. Each Wednesday morning, from June 15 through Aug. 10, Classic Cinemas theatres will present nine G or PG rated films for only $1 per person.

The show begins each Wednesday at 10 a.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. Movie-goers are encouraged to come early to meet some favorite characters and join in fun and games before the movie begins. It's practically magical!

Classic Cinemas takes reservations for groups of 15 or more for the Wednesday Morning Movie Series. The special group rate is just $4.50 per person (adults and children) and includes admission, Kiddie Combo (a child sized popcorn, soft drink, and fruit snack) and reserved seating.

June 15: Yogi Bear

A documentary filmmaker travels to Jellystone Park to shoot a project and soon crosses paths with Yogi Bear, his sidekick Boo-Boo, and Ranger Smith.

June 22: Megamind

The supervillain Megamind finally conquers his nemesis, the hero Metro Man, but finds his life pointless without a hero to fight.

June 29: Alpha & Omega

Two young wolves at opposite ends of their pack's social order are thrown together into a foreign land and need each other to return home, but love complicates everything.

The upcoming schedule of Wednesday morning movies at Tivoli Theatre for the months of July and August to include: Shrek Forever After on July 6, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore on July 13, Gulliver's Travels on July 20, Nanny McPhee Returns on July 27, Despicable Me on August 3, and a Surprise Movie on August 10.
