Lombard Crossing at Elizabeth To Be Closed Weekend of June 17th
The closure will begin late afternoon on Friday, June 17 and continue through the morning of Tuesday, June 21. According to the Lombard Public Works Department, work is needed to exchange the controller in order to complete the interconnect between the railroad gates and the traffic signals at St. Charles and Elizabeth.
To accommodate the closure, the traffic signals will be on flashing red at St. Charles Road and Elizabeth during this time. Any questions regarding this project may be directed to the Public Works Department at (630) 620-5740.
