Lake County Forest Preserve hosts bilingual hikes
The North Shore Health Center of the Lake County Health Department in Highland Park is partnering with local organizations to offer free programs to improve the health of residents and introduce Spanish-speaking residents to the county forest preserve system.
A bilingual hike will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve. The entrance is on Sheridan Road at Old Elm Road and Simonds Way near Highland Park.
This hike is part of a series of free bilingual nature hikes planned. A Lake County Forest Preserve naturalist will lead the hike. Interpretation will be provided. Call (847) 984-5323 for more information.
