Community photo exhibit at Libertyville Days on June 19

The Brainerd Community Center LLC along with the Photo Flash Mob of Lake County will present a photographic exhibition entitled “Community” on Sunday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Libertyville Days Festival.

The Jackson Gym of the landmark Brainerd Building, located at 416 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville, will become a photo gallery showcasing photographs submitted by a community of local photographers showing images of what the theme community means to them.

The Brainerd Community Center is the end goal of the Save Brainerd organization which is working to renovate and repurpose the historic building into a community center which will become a destination for the arts, learning, sports and entertainment.
