Small wonder we’re disillusioned with pols

The comments from Democrats regarding reapportionment maps that said that “the public had their chance to speak up” and that “comments that were made were taken into consideration” are, of course, ludicrous.

The sad part is that, were Republicans in charge, they would do exactly the same thing. Seeking public comment is just more of people going through the motions; it doesn’t really matter what the public thinks at all.

Gerrymandering has been and will continue to be a “right” of the party in power. And we wonder why people are disillusioned with politics?
