Woodland pizza fundraiser results
Gurnee-based Woodland Elementary District 50 students raised more than $650 during their recent Domino’s Pizza fundraiser, officials announced this week. The $656 that was raised will go toward purchase of recess equipment. The cash will be distributed evenly among Primary, Elementary East, Elementary West and Intermediate schools. All profits were placed in the Woodland Recess Equipment Creates Entertained Safe Students fund designated for playground equipment. For placing the most orders per grade, eight classrooms won a pizza party, courtesy of Domino’s. The parties were held Thursday.
