Book notes: Berenstain Bears author at Anderson's
Ÿ On Tuesday, June 7, Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville hosts the Dark Days of Summer Tour, featuring five authors of books for young adults: Veronica Roth (“Divergent”), Aprilynne Pike (“Illusions”), Amy Plum (“Die for Me”), Tara Hudson (“Hereafter”) and Ellen Schreiber (“Vampire Kisses #8”). Ÿ On Wednesday, June 8, Barbara's Bookstore welcomes children's book author Michael Berenstain, who continues to create the Bear Country Bears introduced by his parents Jan and (the late) Stan Berenstain. Michael Berenstain will read from and sign copies of some of the eight new Berenstain Bears books beginning at 6 p.m. Some of the new titles include “A Neighbor in Need” and “Gossip Gang.” Barbara's Bookstore is at 1218 S.
