Tax breaks that taxpayers pay for

Sears said it will move unless Sears gets some tax breaks. The electric company wants the taxpayers to pay for their new grids. New Cubs owners want to have us pay for their improvements. Give tax breaks to all big business, so U.S. taxpayers can pay more taxes to help them.

What does this mean? The big executives then can get fantastic salaries and great benefits and bonuses. And cut their employee force to save more money so they can receive more bonuses. If they don’t get these concessions they will move.

There should be a law that does not allow any state to give tax breaks to big business; this way everyone is on the same playing field. And if they move their corporation out of the country then they should pay an import tax on their products.

Taxpayers are footing the bill for all these tax deals made with big business. Companies that want these tax breaks should list all their top executives’ salaries, bonuses and all perks related to their jobs in the past five years.

I would like to make improvements to my home. Can I have the state give me a tax break and pay for all improvements that are made to my home? I will be creating jobs in the home improvement industry.
