Help for tornado victims:

On June 1 and 2 from 6 to 9 p.m., The Chapel Lake Zurich will hold a collection drive for Joplin, MO. The area was devastated by the May 22 tornado, and at least 125 people died. With the help of the Lake Zurich community, the “Help Joplin!” drive welcomes a variety of items, including toiletries, used clothing of all sizes, and packages of new socks and underwear. Chris Bos, the church’s children and student ministry pastor, said of the devastation in Joplin, “I’m horrified. There is noting left.” Partnering with other churches and organizations near Joplin, The Chapel Lake Zurich will work to send collected supplies to those in need.
