Milwaukee police ID infant killed over weekend
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee police have identified the infant who died over the weekend in a suspected homicide.
Police said Tuesday the boy was 10-month-old Derrick Marquez. He died Saturday evening of apparent blunt-force trauma.
Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz says a person is in custody in connection with Derrick's death. She says the case should be going to prosecutors later Tuesday.
