Fire displaces Naperville residents

A Naperville home was left uninhabitable after a fire late Friday night, authorities said.

Fire personnel were dispatched to the 0 to 100 block of Foxcroft Road at 9:19 p.m. and upon arrival found flames coming from an attached garage.

The fire was extinguished in 15 minutes, though crews remained on scene for another 90 minutes to open walls to expose any concealed, smoldering fire, according to a news release from the Naperville Fire Department.

All occupants of the house had evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The residents were staying at a local hotel Friday night until other living arrangements could be made.

Damages are estimated to be in excess of $100,000.
