Proceeds From Lilac Time Art & Craft Fair Donated to Local Community Groups

The Lombard Chamber of Commerce, Lombard Town Centre and the Village of Lombard, annually work together to offer this event to kick off the beginning of Lilac Time. Proceeds from the art & craft vendors are set aside to give back to the community groups who apply to be considered as a beneficiary.

A reception to recognize the beneficiaries and distribute the checks will be held at the Weber Grill on June 29 from 5:30-7 p.m.

This year, more than $10,000 will be divided equally among the beneficiaries this year, with each group receiving $812.50. Congratulations to the following organizations which will be recognized at the reception:

• Outreach House

• Lombard Historical Society

• Lombard Garden Club

• NEDSRA

• Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry

• Maple Street Chapel Preservation Society

• American Cancer Society

• Lombard Lions Club

• Lombard Service League

• Tri-Town YMCA

• Lombard Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association

• The Salvation Army

• TLC Camp, Inc.
