Loyola hospital program focuses on tennis injuries

A Chicago-area hospital may have found a new niche — treating people with tennis-related injuries.

Loyola University Health System in Maywood says it has established a tennis medicine program to treat injuries caused by tennis play, and teach patients about preventing injuries.

The program will include on-court evaluations and video analyses.

Dr. Neeru Jayanthi, who has studied tennis injuries and is an avid player, will direct the program.
