Village of Lombard, Lombard Chamber of Commerce and Lombard Town Centre Honor Lombard Business Woman
To recognize her for her many contributions to the community and for her 53 years in business, the Village, the Lombard Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Lombard Town Center will host a reception on June 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall Community Room. The reception will be followed by a special presentation at the Village Board meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Lippig, who served clients with her father since August 1, 1957, is retired from Lombard Financial Services, which has held a number of locations in downtown Lombard on St. Charles Road and on south Main Street. Lippig, who had plans to be a Lutheran school teacher, was persuaded by her father to change her major to accounting and business. That decision brought her family and the business to Lombard.
Lippig and her family have been active members of St. John Lutheran Church. She has also been past president of the Lombard Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry and also served as Ambassador Chairman. In addition to being active in her church and the Chamber, Lippig has also served in many community groups including the Friends of the DuPage Theater.
