Summer kids sports offered in Villa Park

Villa Park Parks and Recreation will offer a variety of children's sports programs to keep kids active and busy on their summer break.

An All Star Sports T-Ball League is available for ages 5-7. The league is a great introduction to baseball and softball. Games will be played from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays, June 6-July 25, at Lions Park. The coaches from All Star Sports will coach players in a fun, non-competitive environment. The first week will feature instruction and the remainder of the season will focus on instructional games. Each player will receive a game shirt and hat. The fee for this league is $79.

Monday Night Flag Football is available for ages 6-12. Each week kids will meet on Mondays, June 6-July 25 at Lions Park to learn fun football drills and organized game action. New teams will be formed each week. Coaching is provided by All Star Sports. Ages 6-8 will play from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. and ages 9-12 play from 8:15 to 9:15 p.m. The fee is $75.

Soccer players in grades K-8 can play in a Willowbrook Soccer Camp. Instructed by Coach Montgomery and his players, this camp is the perfect way to improve soccer skills. Individual skills and team play will be the focus. The camp meets from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday-Friday, June 20-24, at Willowbrook High School. The fee is $65.
