Ÿ A free pediatric seminar for parents, sponsored by Children’s Memorial at Central DuPage Hospital Pediatric Program, will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 21, at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville, 3003 Corporate West Drive, Lisle.

High Blood Pressure Affects Your Kidneys will be presented from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 17. Dr. Donald Cronin, nephrologist, will discuss the importance of controlling high blood pressure to maintain good kidney function.
Ovarian Cancer: The Silent Killer will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21. Dr. Eilzabeth Chung, oncologist, will discuss ovarian cancer as well as signs and symptoms to be aware of to heighten awareness of this silent disease.

Ÿ Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, will host a free Healthcare Career Discovery Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 11.
The event will include an overview of health care careers by Patti Ludwig-Beymer, chief nursing officer at Edward Hospital. Interactive learning booths will feature information and opportunities in nursing, radiology, laboratory services, pharmacy, medical records, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, behavioral health, health promotions and other departments.
