Lombard police to host open house May 21

LOMBARD, Illinois—The Lombard Police Department will host an Open House May 21, 2011 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the police department, located at 255 E. Wilson.

Officers and members of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will be on hand and the police department will be open for self guided tours. Residents and groups are invited to stop in and find out more about how the police department serves the community.

Displays and demonstrations will include Canine Chico, SWAT, Traffic and Railroad Safety, Investigations, Squad cars, Emergency Command Post, Taser and Range demonstrations, DuPage County Emergency Management, DuComm (9-1-1) and more.
