Grainger April revenue increases 14 percent
NEW YORK — W.W. Grainger Inc. said Wednesday that revenue increased in April, primarily from an increase of sales volume.
The Lake Forest-based facilities maintenance company said revenue increased by 14 percent. Excluding contributions from acquisitions and foreign exchange effects, Grainger's revenue increased 12 percent.
Grainger reported total revenue of $7.2 billion in 2010.
Shares fell 89 cents to $150 in pre-market trading.
