Arbor Day celebration held with Schafer students

Students from Schafer School's Student Council helped Village of Lombard officials celebrate Arbor Day with a commemorative photo at the site where 29 trees were recently planted.

The students each received a blue spruce tree sampling, donated from the Forestry Department of Hoffman Estates, for their help with the celebration. The 29 trees were planted around the retention pond at Parker and Kaplan in Lombard.
