City Council Workshop Scheduled for Monday, May 9

City Council Will Discuss Council Rules

The Naperville City Council will hold a workshop at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 9 in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. City Council members will discuss Council Rules at this workshop. The agenda and workshop packet are now available to view at http://bit.ly/jJu5ab.

Council workshops are broadcast live and re-broadcast several times on government access television station WCNC (Ch. 6 – WOW, Ch. 10 – Comcast, Ch. 99 – AT&T). Workshops are streamed live and available for on-demand viewing on the city's website at www.naperville.il.us/granicus.html. “The city wants to ensure residents have convenient and transparent access to City Council discussions and decisions,” Community Relations Manager Nadja Lalvani said. “By broadcasting Council workshops, residents can view these work sessions and important discussions at a time and manner that is convenient for them.”

Council workshops are an opportunity for City Council members to analyze issues and exchange ideas on a given topic that requires in-depth discussion. Complete workshop materials are posted to the city's website to allow residents and interested parties easier access to this documentation.
