Pitching matchups: The White Sox’ Edwin Jackson (2-4) vs. Ervin Santana (1-3) Monday; John Danks (0-5) vs. Joel Pineiro (1-0) Tuesday; Jake Peavy (0-0) vs. Tyler Chatwood (2-1) Wednesday. All games 9:05 p.m.

At a glance: The White Sox will try to keep the momentum going on their West Coast road trip after winning back-to-back games at Seattle. The Angels swept a three-game series vs. the Sox at U.S. Cellular Field three weeks ago, but their top two starters — Jared Weaver (6-2, 1.87 ERA) and Dan Haren (4-2, 1.97) — aren’t pitching in this series. The Angels took two of three home games against the Indians over the weekend. Sunday’s win was No. 1,000 for manager Mike Scioscia in an Angels uniform. In his last start, Jackson pitched 8 innings against the Twins and allowed 1 run on 6 hits. But he took a tough loss as Minnesota counterpart Francisco Liriano no-hit the White Sox.
