Save our future generation

In response to Fence Post writer Melissa Riley and anyone who mistakenly believes that women have “freedom of choice” to end their pregnancies: The truth is women get abortions because they feel they have no freedom and no choice. As Frank Pavone says, a woman doesn’t want an abortion like she wants a Porsche or an ice cream cone; rather, she wants an abortion like an animal caught in a trap wants to gnaw off its own leg.

In this me-first culture we live in, women (and men) are looking for love in all the wrong places, allowing themselves to be taken advantage of, used and abused, and gradually developing a contraceptive mentality to protect themselves. (The word “contraception” literally means “against life.”) When the contraception fails, there’s the next step down to abortion.

People need to realize we all have the power and freedom to choose the right things to do, the best thing to do: Love and respect ourselves and others as children of God, stop destroying our future generation, and start becoming a people of life!
