Merchants in historic, downtown Geneva will host the third annual Gardenology. This free event takes place on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, along State and Third streets.
Gardenology advisers and vendors will bring their best ideas and garden related products to jump-start your gardening season. Experts in every horticulture field including farming, landscape design, weavers, local nurseries, a dog trainer, College of DuPage’s horticulture department and more will be on hand to answer your questions.
Topics include herbs, flowers, vegetables, heirloom plants and perennials. Learn about attracting birds and butterflies, wildlife control, composting, organic fertilizers and more. Scheduled seminars, demonstrations and children’s events are planned and will be posted on the Gardenology website, gardenologygenevail.com.
