Pitching matchups: The White Sox’ Phil Humber (2-3) vs. Felix Hernandez (3-2) Friday at 9:10 p.m.; Gavin Floyd (3-2) vs. Doug Fister (2-3) Saturday at 8:10 p.m.; Mark Buehrle (2-3) vs. Erik Bedard (1-4) Sunday at 3:10 p.m.

At a glance: After a needed day off, the White Sox are back at it with the first of nine games on the West Coast. The Sox have dropped 17 of their last 21 and have the worst record (11-21) in the major leagues. They were 9-1 vs. the Mariners last year (2-1 at Safeco). Paul Konerko feasted on Seattle pitching in 2010, hitting 7 home runs while batting .389.
