Sears Centre hosts MMA event May 13

A trio of local fighters will compete next week at a series of mixed-martial arts bouts at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

The X-Treme Fighting Organization’s XFO 39 on May 13 features Crystal Lake resident Jeff “Big Frog” Curran versus Joe “Triangular Strangler” Pearson.

The card also includes Felice “Lil Bull Dog” Herrig of Buffalo Grove, who will fight Michelle “Diabilita” Gutierrez. Woodstock’s Jon Murphy also is on the card.
