Sharia law not in sync with our freedoms

A Duke University chaplain recently stated, “Being a Muslim in the United States is another form of torture, a psychological torture, an emotional torture, and it is just getting worse.” This is another claim of victimhood while Christians and their churches in almost any Muslim country are under siege, even including Egypt now that the masses have been freed from Mubarak’s regime.

In the country of Nigeria more than 60 Christian churches were burned in the northern part of the country, which is controlled by the Muslim ideology and their Sharia law. It is truly imperative that all Americans learn how Sharia law is not compatible with the freedoms of our U.S. Constitution. A bill banning Sharia law in North Carolina has just been introduced and it is time for our nation to consider the same path for America.
